Before You Visit

Please Call Before you Visit

In order to stay within the LA County COVID-19 guidelines, we require visitors to call us before staying overnight or using our facilities. Thank you for understanding.

Please No Pets on the Property

Since all of our rooms are recently refurbished, we ask that no pets are brought inside the rooms. Also, we have a large wild animal population in the surrounding hills that could be dangerous for your pet.

Please No Children

We love the children but due to its nature, Mountain Home is not for the kiddos as it's not a playground. We like to keep it a peaceful place for adults to come to pray & meditate away from the noise and distraction of every day life. Also, Mountain Home is not a place to play and one must always be mindful of nature's threats such as coyotes, rattle snakes and other dangers. Unfortunately in the past, kids have been allowed by their guardians to wander freely putting them in danger, disturbing neighbors and causing destruction and noise.

Upcoming Events

We are working hard to host several events in 2023. If you or your group  is interested in assisting or hosting events, please contact us!

Testimonials

If you or a group have spent time at Mountain Home, we'd love to hear your story of faith and renewal.

Donate and Stay

Mountain Home does not charge daily rates to stay and use our facilities. Instead, we run off of donations. With so many renovations needed, we ask a minimum donation of $25 per person/per night.  The chapel and tabernacle can be reserved ahead of time for your group and we ask a donation of $5 per person/day for the use of either facility.

Covid-19 Response First and foremost, we want everyone to stay as safe and healthy as possible. Here at Mountain Home Desert Retreat, we have been following California and Los Angeles County guidelines. Currently, we are allowing small groups to use our facilities and stay as guests. Mountain Home Desert Retreat is located on 40 acres so there is plenty of room for small groups or film crews. We do ask that all groups and individuals wear a mask and stay six feet apart while using the Chapel or Tabernacle. Please contact us for more information.
